Former Pussycat Dolls star Ashley, 37, has consistently wowed the judges with her impressive dance routines with professional dancer Pasha Kovalev on Strictly Come Dancing.
The duo quickly became favourites to win the competition when they received 10 scores from the judging panel for their Dirty Dancing performance in Movie Week.
Having achieved the impressive feat of getting to the Blackpool ballroom this weekend, Ashley spilled all on her experience with the brand new studio.
Speaking to presenter Gethin Jones on today’s edition of It Takes Two, the star revealed she’s had to use some extra materials on her dancing shoes.
“Maybe the bounce will help me in the Jive,” she reasoned, referring to the ballroom’s specially bouncy floor for dancers.
“But it’s slippery out there,” the contestant shared. “So I need a bit of extra rubber on those babies.”
Ashley also spilled all on her activities in the iconic English city.
“I didn’t know riding a donkey was what to do here,” she admitted in response to Gethin’s joke about the activity. “I will look out for that little donkey and I will give it a ride.”
Making her fellow contestants Lauren Steadman, Stacey Dooley and Faye Tozer giggle, Ashley then declared: “I was at a fish and chip shop yesterday!”

Another wrote: “Ashley Roberts’ Jive is going to be so fast, and very bouncy #ItTakesTwo.”
“I love Ashley she’s so down to earth #ItTakesTwo,” a third noted.
Yesterday’s edition of It Takes Two saw presenter Zoe Ball press Ashley and Pasha to address judge Craig Revel Horwood’s refusal to give them a 10 for their Contemporary routine last week.

Speaking about her performance at the time, Craig said: “I think you are absolutely super incredible. You took flight in it. But I would have liked to have seen more breath in it.
“I would have liked to have seen a little more of that.”
Shrugging his shoulders to Zoe, Pasha said in the studio: “I’m not sure [why]. Either he likes people who breathe or he doesn’t.
“I’m creating a list so I am surely going to have the perfect recipe for a 10 from Craig by the final.”
Ashley and Pasha will be performing their Jive to the soundtrack of Shake Ya Tail Feather by The Blues Brothers.
