IT’S a good job Victoria Beckham isn’t part of the Spice Girls reunion – as I don’t think wading through mud is really her thing.
I can reveal the band look set to join the Glastonbury 2019 line-up, after Mel B finally confirmed they are in talks with bosses Michael and Emily Eavis to headline the festival.
It comes after months of speculation that the girls would grace the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm, following their highly anticipated reunion.
Scary Spice said: “Glastonbury. It’s been talked about. But we’re so pop and it’s so cool — that’ll be funny to me.
And the timing for Glastonbury could not be more of a perfect fit in the Nineties group’s schedule next year, with their 23-date UK stadium tour running between May 27 and June 15. They’d have plenty of time to rest up after the tour before getting their wellies out for Glasto, which runs between 26 and 30 June.
And while Victoria did make a surprise appearance on the sidelines at Glasto last year it’s unlikely she’d head back again.
Despite the festival being in their sights, the girls are busy focusing on getting their tour planned for next year.
And now Mel B has confirmed that the shows will include guest slots from other major stars.
Speaking on Jessie Ware’s Table Manners podcast, she added: “I’ve also had an idea which we’ve talked about — getting other people on stage with us.
“Katy Perry has agreed to do it — hopefully Adele will do it.”
I’m sure they won’t have much trouble getting Adele on board after she celebrated the band’s reunion by sharing a snap of herself aged nine in front of a Spice Girls shrine.
And she previously shared her love for the girl group during James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, by belting out a rendition of their debut single Wannabe.
The Spice Girls and Adele on the Pyramid Stage together would certainly make the history books.

Fleur’s mac with a new track
Fleur East swaps her jungle gear for something more glam in my exclusive first-look snap from her new music video.
I can reveal the singer, who is one of the favourites to win this year’s I’m A Celeb, has got secret plans in place to release the as-yet- unnamed single after she leaves the ITV show.
And Fleur, or Flair as campmate Harry Redknapp pronounces it, recorded the music video for the upcoming track just one day before heading to Australia.
A source said: “Fleur is hoping I’m A Celeb will be the launchpad for her music comeback.
“She’s already got a song recorded and shot the music video right before she went to Australia, so it would be ready and unedited for her to approve when she gets out.
“Fleur feels she has unfinished business with music and is hoping for more success after the huge profile boost the show has given her.”
As long as it’s not her and Emily Atack’s song about liking their thighs, I have no doubts she’ll conquer the charts.
Towie’s Yazmin Oukhellou and former Ex On The Beach star Nicole Bass rang in the festive season by partying at 100 Wardour Street in London’s Soho on Tuesday evening.
Biebers are just lovin’ it
Nothing says I love you . . . like a couple’s photoshoot.
Justin Bieber and new wife Hailey Baldwin packed on the PDA for their first joint shoot in LA, for glossy magazine Vanity Fair.
Two months after getting hitched, the newlyweds are firmly in the honeymoon period.
Justin and Hailey proved they are dotty about each other by wearing matching polka dot clobber.
Plus they couldn’t keep their hands off each during the shoot by legendary snapper Annie Leibovitz.
I doubt she’ll be rushing to the newsstands to pick up a copy.

Grimmy’s the ride man to DJ
He’s used to turning the DJ decks, but Nick Grimshaw will soon be doing a different kind of spinning.
The BBC Radio 1 host is moving into the fitness industry – and will host his own cycling class at boutique wellness brand Psycle in London next week.
Grimmy will provide the playlist for the class and could even be trying his hand at instructing if fitness fans are lucky.
A source said: “Nick has always been a real gym fanatic despite all his previous early starts on Radio 1.
Psycle is having a launch night next week to celebrate its flagship Mortimer Street studio’s expansion – and Grimmy jumped at the chance to DJ at one of the classes.”
Dermot O’Leary and Claudia Winkleman are two of the star guests that enjoy working up a sweat at Psycle.
You’d still struggle to find me there.
That’s good news, Rob
Take That’s 30th anniversary is just two years off – and Robbie Williams is doing everything he can to get them Back For Good.
After reuniting with Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen on last week’s X Factor final, the singer has issued a plea to get remaining member Jason Orange out of retirement.
Jason, who quit the band, below in 2011, four years ago, said at the time: “There have been no fallings out, only a decision on my part that I no longer wish to do this.”
Speaking at a gala night for Take That‘s musical The Band on Tuesday, Robbie said: “Of course I’d like to do more shows with them.
“We will ride again. I know life is short but it’s the longest thing we’ll ever do. If we can coax Jason out of retirement then we’ll try. I hope to record again together.”
Between a Las Vegas residency and commitments on X Factor, Robbie could end up being the hardest one to tie down.
Rockers Bring Me The Horizon are “horrified” by the death of a fan at one of their concerts.
Now the Sheffield band are thinking about toning down their often manic shows after Ali Mills, 25, suffered a cardiac arrest in a mosh pit at Alexandra Palace in London on Friday.
A source close to the band said: “All BMTH want is for kids to feel like they can enjoy one of their gigs without coming to harm.
“There’s been whispers venues have worried about their shows in the past and if some now want there to be extra security to stop things getting out of hand, the band won’t stand in the way.”
Frontman Oli Sykes claimed in deleted tweets from 2013: “By law I’m no longer allowed to say mosh pit or anything of the like . . . so whatever you do – DON’T MOSH.”
They stopped a 2013 Florida gig so help could reach an injured spectator.
Hopefully there’s brighter horizons ahead for the group and their fans.
Cardi B and Offset have split after just a year of marriage – and five months after having a daughter, Kulture. The rapper made the announcement on Instagram. She said: “It’s nobody’s fault . . . I guess we just grew out of love.”
Kevin Hart will host the 2019 Oscars. The comic, who takes over from Jimmy Kimmel, said: “I am blown away. This has been a goal on my list for a long time. To be able to join the legendary list of hosts that have graced that stage is unbelievable. I know my mum is smiling from ear to ear.”
Rachel Weisz (pictured) has said she’s too old to have any more kids with 007 hubby Daniel Craig. The actress, 48, who also has a 12-year-old son with her film-maker ex Darren Aronofsky, gave birth to a daughter in September. She said: “I definitely know there won’t be another one.”
Tom Grennan has won the BBC Music Introducing Artist Of The Year Award 2018. He said: “It’s an incredible honour to pick up such a prestigious award. I have seen other people I admire greatly pick up this trophy, so for me to receive it is pretty mind-blowing.”
