Neil Woodford to start offloading unlisted biotech holdings this month – Telegraph.co.uk

Embattled fund manager Neil Woodford could start offloading holdings in unlisted biotech companies at the end of this month, although it remains unclear how long the sales will take or when investors will have access to their cash trapped in his suspended equity income fund. 

The assets will be sold as part of a structured auction process that could take up to three months, Reuters reported, meaning investors face being shut out of the fund until at least mid-October. 

The fund’s supervisor Link Fund Solutions is believed to have asked PJT to handle the sale from late July, after the boutique investment bank handled initial interest from European and US investors.
