#MeToo: Probe panel holds back on Rahul Johri – Times of India

The independent inquiry committee, constituted by SC-appointed CoA, was due to submit its report on sexual harassment charges against BCCI CEO Rahul Johri by Nov 15. However, the report on the BCCI website did not carry any information. Speculation is that the BCCI may require its report to submit its report. Aditya Verma is yet to verify his statement copy.

(CoA), was due to submit its report by Thursday as per the 15-day window set by the

CoA

on October 30

However, the BCCI website did not take any information if the report was submitted by the committee nor did the board issue a press announcement. TOI has learned that the development has given rise to speculation within the BCCI that the committee may require its report to submit its report.

It has also been learned from the independent committee, the deponents the transcript of their statements by Thursday morning. While the majority of the deponents have crossed-checked and returned the transcripts with required corrections, it has been learned about Aditya Verma, who has filed the petition against the 2013 spot-fixing scandal, also has a copy of the copy statement which may be verified Verma did not get a reply till late Thursday.
