MATT Lucas has contacted the police after receiving death threats from Michael Jackson fans.
The comedian also revealed one twisted Twitter user had branded him a “paedophile” after he called his alleged sexual abuse victims Wade Robson and James Safechuck “brave”.
He tweeted: “Since I saw LEAVING NEVERLAND & said I believe the testimonies of Robson & Safechuck, a handful of MJ fans have attacked me on social media.
“I’ve even had a death threat, which is with the police.
“This charmer is calling me a paedophile. And we wonder why victims don’t speak up.”
Earlier this month, Matt wrote that the King of Pop could “rot” after watching the HBO documentary Leaving Neverland.
The film contains explosive claims that Michael sexually abused young children for years.
It has left audience members shocked with graphic abuse claims including how he allegedly gave a young boy jewellery in exchange for vile sex acts.
After watching the movie, Matt tweeted: “Leaving Neverland is a very tough watch indeed but the brave and vital testimonies of Wade Robson and James Safechuck and their families must be heard.
“After four heartbreaking hours, you don’t doubt them for a moment. Michael Jackson can rot.”
James – who was by the star’s side for much of his Bad tour – accused the singer of molesting him nearly 100 times in a 2015 legal action.
The Jackson family has denounced his accusers as “opportunists” and “admitted liars” and in a separate interview said they believe the men’s allegations are motivated by money, something they both deny.
Michael – who died in June 2009 – was tried on child molestation charges from 2004-2005 but was acquitted due to lack of evidence.
