Michael Griffiths and Joanna Chimonides are at risk at being dumped from Love Island in a shocking elimination twist.
The duo were voted one of the two least favourite couples by the public on Sunday night’s episode (July 14) alongside Anna Vakili and Jordan Hames, but were ultimately voted out by Amber Gill and Ovie Soko, Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor and Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury.
Or, so they thought.
“You can’t stay in Love Island as a couple,” Love Island host Caroline Flack explained. “One of you will leave the villa.”

The twist follows Amber telling Michael she still has feelings for him earlier in the show.
“Chris coming in has made me realise even more how much we did have a good thing,” she told him.
“I know we had our issues, but I feel like if I had have handled it better, if I had been more open with you, we wouldn’t be at this point right now – because I think that we did have a good thing going.
She added: “I still do like you, I can’t switch my feelings off. I know it took me a long time to say it but when I did say that I liked you, it was real… That’s all I wanted to say.”
So, will Michael or Joanna leave the villa?
