Katie Price’s family are so concerned about her spending habits they’ve but a ban on her splashing the cash over Christmas, it has been reported.
The glamour model swerved bankruptcy twice this year, but that hasn’t stop her from splurging £6000 on new decorations for her Sussex mansion.
An insider claimed Katie’s family are frightened about her ‘spending money like water’ so have come up with a plan to keep her in check till after the festive season.
“Katie is so generous and loves treating the kids and can’t resist what she sees as a bargain. But if you buy lots of bargains, it all adds up.
“So now, she’s given an allowance for the week and can only spend over the total when she gets it approved by her team,” they told The Sun.
And while Katie’s reportedly on a spending ban, her ex husband Peter Andre has been boasting about his latest purchases on social media.
Peter took to Instagram to show his followers around a black BMW convertible parked up outside the family mansion as he prepared to take it for a spin.
Gushing about how ‘in love’ he was, Peter said: “Do I even need convincing? This one is amazing.”
Earlier in the week the dad-of-four shared a film of him driving a different BMW on the school run.
It comes following reports tickets for Peter’s 23 date UK 25th anniversary tour are being sold for discounted prices.
With less than two months to go, it appears the Mysterious Girl singer may be struggling to sell tickets so has started flogging them at a lower price on discount site Groupon.
Tickets at his 11 March gig at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush in London are for sale for £27.28 – 38 per cent less than the original price of £44.10.
