The Supreme Court has upheld the decision on the Supreme Court’s decision on Wednesday to hear the plea of 10 rebel MLAs of Congress and JD (S) alleging that the Karnataka assembly speaker was not accepting their resignations.
“We have petitioned the governor to direct the speaker to hold a floor test in the monsoon session as the coalition government lost majority and its chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has no right to continue,” BJP’s state leader BS Yeddurappa told reporters.
