Game Of Thrones releases photos of episode 3 featuring Sansa Stark in armor as well as Jamie and Brienne fighting side by side ahead of Battle of Winterfell

The army of the living are set to begin their battle with the Night King.

And there is no one more ready for war than Sansa Stark.

HBO released six images from the upcoming Game Of Thrones episode 3 of the 8th and final season on Wednesday.

One of the images shows Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) in her leather armor ahead of the highly-anticipated Battle of Winterfell. 

Another image shows Sansa with sister Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) on the castle ramparts.

There is another one which shows Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie)  fighting side by side in full armor.

Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) and  Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) are shown overlooking the battle atop a hilltop in the distance.

There was also an image of Jon looking terrified which was shown in the prior teaser. 

Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and Varys (Conleth Hill) are also seen in the crypts.

Tough scene: There was also an image of Jon looking terrified which was shown in the prior teaser

Shortly after episode 2 aired on HBO Sunday, a 30-second teaser was released which opened with troops lined up and catapults armed ahead of the Battle of Winterfell.

‘The most heroic thing we can do now is look the truth in the face,’ Sansa Stark [Sophie Turner] said in a voiceover.

Grey Worm was then shown putting on his battle helmet as war was about to begin.

Relaxed: Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and Varys (Conleth Hill) are also seen in the crypts

Daenerys Targaryen [Emilia Clarke] and Jon Snow in the clip looked over the battlefield together as the undead approached.

Sansa and her sister Arya Stark [Maisie Williams] also stood next to each other appearing stoic ahead of the fight.

Tyrion Lannister [Peter Dinklage] and Jorah Mormont [Iain Glen] also were seen briefly with worried looks on their faces.

Stay put: Brienne of Tarth was shown at the end of the episode 3 tease released on Sunday yelling at troops to stand their ground

Getting ready: The army of the living was seen getting ready for the Night King and his undead army

Stark sisters: Sansa Stark and sister Arya stood next to each looking stoic

‘The Night King is coming,’ Jon said in a voiceover.

Quick clips showed Arya sprinting, a howling dragon and Theon firing a flaming arrow.

Jon was seen unsheathing his sword before the teaser cut to Dany telling him, ‘The dead are already here’.

Looking worried: Tyrion Lannister [Peter Dinklage] also was seen briefly looking worried

The ominous clip ended with Brienne of Tarth [Gwendoline Christie] standing in front of soldiers and yelling, ‘Stand your ground!’.

The eighth and final season of Game Of Thrones premiered April 14 and a record 17.4 million viewers tuned in.

Game Of Thrones will conclude its six-episode final season May 19.

  4. Some things turn around for a lifetime. I didn’t know each other at first, but finally I didn’t know each other. If love is just passing by, why bother here. Some love, had to settle each other, suddenly looking back, I can no longer tell.
