Meghan gave birth to her first child, Archie Harrison, on May 6. His full name was announced on May 8, two days later. Harry and Meghan met schoolboy Archie Somerville-Ryan last October whilst touring New Zealand.
Speaking to Channel 5 news he claimed Prince Harry expressed a fondness for his name.
Referring to the Prince the boy commented: “He said, ‘I like that name’ or something like that to Meghan’.
“He said ‘Come on Meghan, look at these guys.’ Because we had roses in the garden.
“And he introduced our names and things to Meghan, and kind of like nodded when they said our names.

Meghan and Harry toured New Zealand for four days last October.
They arrived in Wellington, the country’s capital, on October 28.

The visit formed part of a wider tour of Australia and the South Pacific region.
Separately it has been claimed Meghan named her child after ‘Archie Andrews’, a comic book character.
Speaking to The Sun a friend of the Duchess claimed this was the real inspiration for the name.
She added: “Meghan would spend her weekends going to vintage stores to buy the comics.
“This could be a little not to her dad. It was him who installed that hobby her, that was their activity together.”
