Cruise Ship Quarantined in the Caribbean Due to Crew Member with the Measles – Cruise Fever

Multiple news outlets are reporting that a cruise ship has been quarantined in the Caribbean after a crew member was confirmed having the measles.

The cruise ship is currently quarantined by health officials and docked in St. Lucia. CNBC is reporting that the cruise ship is Freewinds, a small ship owned by the Church of Scientology. Officials in St. Lucia have declined to name the vessel involved.

There are fewer than 300 passengers and crew members on board ship. The crew member is currently in isolation and passengers and other crew members are being required to stay on board and not disembark the ship.
