CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- Clarksville Christian School has started a fundraiser for funeral costs associated with the loss of two students.
William Lancaster, 18, and his sister Alayan Lancaster, 15, were killed in a head-on crash in Montgomery County on April 25, 2019.
Clarksville Christian School posted to their Facebook page various ways that the community can help support the family with funeral costs. According to the post anyone willing to help can bring a check to the school. Checks may be made payable to Clarksville Christian School and should indicate “Lancaster Family” in the memo. There is also a GoFundMe campaign started.
“This fund has been established in an effort to generate support for Jonathan and Alayna’s parents, Bryan and Dana, and to help them in any way we can with funeral costs and other expenses they may encounter. While there is nothing we can do to ease their pain, our prayer is that we can help relieve some of the financial burdens they will face in the days ahead,” the school states on the GoFundMe page.
The Lancaster family has specifically asked that instead of flowers, donations be made to Clarksville Christian School in honor of the children. If you would like to make a memorial gift, you can mail or bring your contribution to the school. Please be sure to indicate “In memory of Jonathan and Alayna Lancaster” in the memo on checks.
Clarksville Christian School is located at 505 Highway 76, Clarksville TN 37043.
