ANT McPartlin was banned by estranged wife Lisa Armstrong from entering their marital home as he tried to reclaim his belongings.
The presenter, 43, had arranged through his lawyers to visit the west London pad to collect his possessions, but when he arrived at the doorstep he wasn’t allowed to enter, reports the Mirror.
He repeatedly rang the intercom but Lisa didn’t budge, forcing Ant to make a retreat without his items.
A source told the publication: “Ant has a right to collect his possessions he left in the house two years ago.
“The last time he was in the house was July, two years ago – before he went into rehab the first time. He just wants to collect his belongings at the agreed time.
“It’s all pretty tiring now – he just wants to move on with his life.”
Meanwhile, a source close to Lisa insisted the make-up artist was unaware Ant was planning on visiting.
A representative for Ant declined to comment.
The Sun Online has also contacted a representative for Lisa for comment.
