ANT McPartlin will return to work this week for the first time in nine months.
The presenter, 43, will join Dec Donnelly at Britain’s Got Talent production meetings.
It comes as stand-in Holly Willoughby rules out hosting I’m A Celebrity... again.
She made her remarks as regular I’m A Celebrity… host Ant prepared to return to work for the first time in 277 days.
It will be his first TV work since a car crash in March led him to check in to rehab for substance addiction.
And yesterday stand-in Holly, 37, cleared the way for his I’m A Celebrity… return.
She said: “It was a one-off, once in a lifetime adventure.
“Next year, I’ll be at home with everyone else having a glass of wine watching it.”
Ant’s career has been on hold since the crash, which led to a 20-month driving ban and a £86,000 fine.
He pulled out of BGT’s live shows, I’m A Celebrity… and scrapped the 2019 series of Saturday Night Takeaway.
Meanwhile, he also dealt with a difficult divorce from ex-wife Lisa Armstrong after 11 years of marriage.
Ant has since found love again with girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett, a member of his management team.
Yesterday, he looked dapper in a smart suit as he met friends for lunch in London.
A source said: “He always planned to take the rest of 2018 off to fully recover.
“He didn’t want to commit to anything before he was absolutely ready but now he feels up to it again.
“He’s got his first production meetings this week where he will be talking about the plan for the new series in January and from then onwards he’s back into work mode.
“The break has been exactly what he needed and done him the world of good.”

But launching a new series of Dancing On Ice yesterday, she knocked back suggestions all three could be involved in presenting next year’s series.
She said she was jealous of fans watching the show.
She said: “Here I am standing here while you’re all drinking red wine at home in front of the fire and I’m in the rain in the jungle. I am all over the shop. I still don’t know what day it is.”
