Add two of America’s biggest sports celebrities to the list of people who adore Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and girlfriend Danica Patrick, a former Indy Car race driver, were in town Sunday night to see reggae/folk artist Trevor Hall at the Rocks. Patrick raved about the experience in an Instagram post that had more than 37,400 likes as of Wednesday morning, writing:

“You know when you build something up in your head and as a result, there’s probably no way it could be better than that … last night proved that theory wrong! Red rocks was better than my limited imagination. Because it goes beyond a view or idea … it’s a feel and feelings are the key to any deep emotion. It was epic!”

Patrick posted a photo of her and Rodgers with Ship Rock in the background, along with a backstage photo of the couple with Hall, his wife, Emory, and others. Patrick also posted a photo looking back at the crowd framed by the iconic geological formations that make the place unique.

One follower commented: “May I suggest on next Colorado trip climbing Mt Elbert (14er) and a stop at City in the Hill Coffee Shop in Leadville! Two must dos on Colorado visit!”

Rodgers has played for the Packers since 2005 and led them to a Super Bowl title in 2010. Patrick grew up in Beloit, Wis., and raced cars for two decades before retiring after the 2018 Indianapolis 500. They reportedly have been dating since early 2018.
